N-P-K Lawn Care, LLC is locally owned and operated. We’re not a huge franchised outfit based out of Illinois or Tennessee. We’re a local company making a living serving you right here in the Midlands. Not only do we want the best for our community, the money we earn is spent right here with other local businesses to help support our community.

What does N-P-K mean and How does it help my lawn? 

Many people don’t know what N-P-K means. These are scientific letters that represent different elements or “Vitamins”. Most fertilizers you purchase for your lawn have three numbers on them which represent percent of each compound within the product. The first number represents the percent of Nitrogen (N), the second number represents the percent of Phosporous (P) and the third number represents the percentage of Potassium (K).

Each element supports turf growth in different ways. Nitrogen encourages leaf growth, Phosporous assists in root growth and Potassium improves the lawn’s ability to make food.

Each grass variety has its own preference. Knowing the grass type and having a soil analysis will definately point you in the right direction as far as what your lawn needs to be healthy and green.

We provide soil tests along with the proper treatments to ensure a healthy lawn. Our goal is not to burden you with unnecessay treatments but to provide you with the treatments necessary to keep your landscape looking it’s best.
